1937 S/42 P-08 Luger

 Specimen: A

My first luger years ago was a 1937 second variation much like this.

Only nicer.

I sold it because it had a slight bit of holster wear on the muzzle, and some edge wear on the trigger plate, as well as the obligatory patch on the lower grip that all Lugers seem to have.

My plan was to get a replacement that was better.

Several years, and dozens of Lugers later, I still haven't found one as nice as that first one.

This one is close. It is very nice, and actually may be better overall, but memory is a fickle thing, and in my eyes, blurred by age and nostalgia, it can't possibly be as nice.
