Walther PPQ M2 9mm

This pistol looks a little "rough" doesn't it? This is my main, daily carry pistol.

As you've seen, I have several to choose from. This is the one I choose more often then not when I choose to carry a pistol.

I have carried it on my body, in the trunk, in a glove box, in a back-pack, in a motorcycle pannier...

I have carried it in the city, I have carried it in the country, I have carried it in the mountains, and out at sea. In all those places, and all those times, I have thankfully never needed it, and it's been an unnecessary weight at my side. However, I live by the mantra: "I'd rather have it, and not need it, than need it, and not have it." This Walther has served me well for several years. It still shoots as good as it did when new, and I see no reason to switch to any other design. It is accurate, ergonomic, reasonably weighted, and reliable to a fault. If I had one complaint, it's that I didn't have the foresight to get the threaded "Navy" model for use with a surpressor. Perhaps when this one gets retired we'll pick up one of those. However, I suspect this fine pistol will still be soldiering on long after those are out of production.
